More information about unique geographical importance of Antarctica

The hope remains that current and future civilizations Antarctica courage to protect and preserve its perfect brilliance. Unfortunately, this continent has dissolved slowly over decades. Many countries have formed a coalition with the express purpose of reversing this negative trend and saving the beauty of Antarctica. Many who have traveled to Antarctica are of an agreement in the region is a vast area full of captivating and breathtaking splendor. The animals are not shy about the presence of humans. It is an inspiring vision to see the mix of innocence animals and the beauty of nature. The seas will rise about 180 feet or more when the ice shelves in Antarctica all separated and thawing. This increase could sent to the 20th floor of the skyscraper in New York! Low-lying countries such as South Pacific islands would be completely absorbed by water. These ice shelves fall from the continent and drift northward, melting on the road. This causes sea levels to rise. Furthermore, the amounts of nutritive value of krill are destroyed. Interaction destructive-chloro-fluoro carbon (CFC) expelled by the release of refrigerants into the atmosphere of the earth, created the infamous hole in the ozone layer. They respond negatively with ozone. As such, it has created a warming effect in the area, destroying the ice shelves. The height of the ice on the continent is more than 15,000 feet. This thickness It's a tremendous snow accumulation over many centuries. Much has been learned by scientists through a careful study and observation of atmospheric samples taken from the continent of Antarctica. With what is commonly known as the deep end, "in Ecuador, the polar regions store more methane and carbon dioxide carbon much faster than warmer climates. Therefore, the temperature increase caused by the greenhouse effect is almost 4 to 5 times greater in the Antarctic region than any other place, making it essential continent climate research. Our atmosphere is composed of approximately 79 percent nitrogen and 21 percent oxygen. Minor amounts of methane and carbon dioxide are also there. These gases, combined with water vapor, reflect radiation toward land making them hot. This phenomenon is known as the greenhouse effect. However, Antarctica has a very special and unique natural feature that makes is important to each and every one of us. The greenhouse effect is more prominent at the poles, where the particles that make the atmosphere more intense. The sun produces energy radiance that is absorbed by the surface of the earth, the earth has begun to absorb more heat at the poles and as a result both the Arctic and Antarctica is warming. The fauna of Antarctica must be equipped to withstand its harsh climate, since it is the driest, bitterly freezing, and windiest continent. Of rainfall 200mm annual cost only about (much less way), and has the highest average elevation of all continents. The creatures that can survive here mainly include seals and penguins, while the plant life is on the tundra and algae. The Antarctic waters are rich in nutrients and are the lifeblood of countless penguins whales, seals, dolphins, fish and several species of birds in flight. Micro feed Schools, better known as krill, grow in large quantities below the platforms ice mass of Antarctica. The main food of seals, whales and penguins is krill, and is also used by humans in Japan. Antarctica occupies one-tenth of the earth in the universe and is larger than Europe. However, this continent is far from hospital, sustaining winds of 192 mph and temperatures as low as negative 89 degrees Celsius. Antarctica, home to the South Pole, is completely surrounded by the Southern Ocean.
