What do you think about the Omega 3 connection to schizophrenia?

This is in the news today and I think it shows a lot of promise. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if taking a supplement would help those with schizophrenia?
A shrink friend of mine suggested years ago about Omega 3. He suggested that I take it to maybe ward off allszheimer(sp) which runs in my family. So far, so good

Because the brain is made up of fatty acids it does make sense that a lack of of them would be extremely helpful.

We don’t eat fish like we used to years ago. I think it’s wonderful that they are looking at more natural approach towards mental illness.
