I know when to feed my horse, things like soybean oil, the oil adds shine to their fur and hooves. I'll assume the flakes is supposed to do the same with the fish. I'm not sure, tho. i feed the improved color flakes once a day, and bloodworms last time. my guppies are not looking for more vibrant, or anything. no change in coloration.
