Supplement question??
Recently I came across a website linked through GNC www.megaflax.com called I was looking for things to help to lower my cholesterol (290 now) and LDL (215) and general health without medication only as ordered Megaflax Heart, Omega 3 Basic Master formula of nutrients, and after a meal supplement shake.Question chocolate is how I can determine the daily quantities should I take? "I can take everything as directed or will be too, how much is too much? Any links to say daily recommendations? I'm on a 1200 calorie diet right now if you make the difference …. I should mention supplements in powder form needs to be mixed with drinks or food or something.All have a lot of the same ingredients as the Omega-3, 6 and 9s.Then as iron, vitamins A, B, C, etc. The difference is in the other ingredients such as cinnamon is one, broccoli, speciallfically to help your heart and the other has something for nutrition.
To answer your question, the easiest way to find (and we do not know the ingredients) is to look at the ingredients listed on products. If none of them has the same ingredient, you should be alright. With herbs, there is a very remote chance to take things to support multiple levels of cholesterol would be too low too fast (which basically is the only way to cause a problem like that). We have customers who have 5-10 different products for a similar benefit … provided they do not bend to any ingredients, there should be no problem. The only problem might be if you do not get enough nutrition and dietary fat in your body to keep working …. there is not enough fat can be as bad as this too (in very different ways, of course). His best option is to consult a nutritionist or dietitian to make sure you have a healthy diet and adequate supplement regiment. Good luck!
