In the short term memory problems after brain cancer treatments can help?

TUMOR: anaplastic astrocytoma olligo III … TREATMENTS: 2 craniotomies, 7 weeks of radiation, and 1 year (oral) chemotherapy. Now, after 3 years of all treatments, my husband has a lot issues short-term memory and cognitive problems … and appears to be the worst. Is there anything I could take to help with these problems? Take omega 3, but is not helping a lot … A friend told me that taking 400 mg of magnesium a day could help … However, I'm not sure if that would make the cancer cells to come back faster. Please help!
