Can this diet potentially hurt me?

I've been a vegetarian (lacto-ovo, so I'm told) for a while now, and while I am very well, I could use some input to ease some concerns. What follows is what I eat on a typical day: Breakfast: One cup of oatmeal with fresh fruit, bread wheat toast, tea or coffee, and a package of vitamins (including Omega-3) Lunch: Salad with fat-free dressing, mixed vegetables, fresh fruit, perhaps some toast or cottage cheese Dinner: Steamed vegetables, some almonds (if available), egg whites and the occasional glass of red wine to drink water with every meal, and I do not snack in between. Ring 2-4 miles every other day. I see a lot of similar questions from people concerned about very low fat, caloric intake, etc. Am I stealing? I further 5 '8'', 150 lbs. I would like to start weight training again in the days that I run. What will it take for my protein intake and how I can do without all the fat?

Make sure you are getting the vitamin B-12 somewhere. Vegans should take fortified foods, not sure if you are getting on that diet. Food Quality looks good. I worry about meal frequency and quantity of food. First, you should have 5-6 meals a day. This keeps your metabolism high and constant and minimize fat accumulation, if any to eat. Second, make sure you are eating enough. Calculate your BMR online, and try to eat about 500 calories less than that amount per day.
