
Sushi fans! Please help?
I like sushi very suddenly.
I'm a vegetarian and is a great way to get protein and Omega 3 fatty acids. For those of you who are well versed with this energy food, what type are your favorites? What would you recommend for a vegetarian to eat? Are there certain things to look for to ensure that it is really cool? (I know sometimes can be a problem if you buy in a store). What types of sauces and liquids like you put yours in? Any other delights of the information is greatly appreciated! ** Merry Christmas! ** Just to clarify my lifestyle diet, I made a vegetarian. I do not eat fish …. Oh! I've also heard it was bad etiquette to mix soy sauce with wasabi. Is there any truth to this? Thanks!
Most of sushi bars and restaurants have a series of rolls of vegetables to choose from. You can also find things you like on the menu and ask the vegan version – most best sushi places I've been unwilling to do so. Wasabi and ginger are a necessity for me at all and I just dip in soy sauce. There is also a great place downtown sushi where I work and have a GREAT chili sauce – that rocks. Just try everything and not be afraid to go and tell the waiters to be a vegetarian – all are well versed in the menu because many people go who are not used to eating sushi. I love it. Mmmmm ..
